can i make a living with a graphic design degree, better in orlando, than nashville?

Question by idigitaldestiny: can i make a living with a graphic design degree, better in orlando, than nashville?
Nashville does have SOME design work, but not alot, and they usually want 10-15 years experience. I have been freelancing since graduating 3 years ago, and doing data entry as my main source of income. Monster.com lists a bevy of graphical jobs in and around orlando, and strangely, alot of it is entry level and still pays more than the jobs in nashville requiring experience. My print media skills are very good. As is my digital video skill. Web design skills are better than average, but my coding I am working to improve. I also have some 3D modeling skills, with 2d and 3d animation, but it’s not Disney-Pixar quality, by any means. I am also bilingual, speaking good Spanish. Do I stand a better chance in Orlando?

My grandson is doing well in Orlando, although some of his work is out of state. He is presently on assignment in Vegas and had just left NYC.

Design and IT Creative type of work is VERY regional, you really need to get close one of the big metros below to find a flourishing job market

The big areas for IT and graphics design are where you find IT and advertising agencies. that’s usually the coasts. CA (San Francisco) and NY (New York City) , additional to that… other major metros with graphic design needs are..
boston, washington dc, dallas , chicago, atlanta , seattle, philadelphia and austin ..

I’m here in NY and there’s tons of work, … Good luck
